Daniel Rybakken spent eight years designing the PETIT STANDARD, pursuing precision down to the last detail. One of his aims was to create a design that could be stacked high and still look beautiful when stacked. In fact, the PETIT STANDARD is an iconic design that combines elegant form with functionality. By combining different tubes made of die-cast aluminum and steel in a three-dimensional triangle, it creates a lightweight and distinctive geometric silhouette, which contrasts beautifully with the natural and warm oak veneer of the seat and backrest. The high backrest and curved seat provide high comfort. In addition, the high strength of the steel frame allows it to be stacked, making it recommended for use in public facilities such as offices and schools. *The wood grain varies from piece to piece. Enjoy the texture unique to natural materials.

DANIEL RYBAKKEN

Daniel Rybakken was born in Oslo, Norway in 1984. He studied design at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design and the School of Arts & Crafts in Sweden, and began his career in 2008.

He has received various awards, including the Red Dot Award in Singapore in 2007, the Anders Jahre's Cultural Prize in Oslo in 2008, the Design Report Award for best designer in Milan, Italy in 2009, the Bruno Mathsson Award and the London Design Medal in 2011, and the Golden Chair Award from the Swedish Architectural Association in 2013. His products, which are fascinated by the power of natural light, transcend the boundaries between art and design.
