Instant Comfort and Personalized Ergonomics The chair moves with you, supporting you and encouraging free, natural movement. Mirra 2's Loop Spine provides torsional flexibility and allows you to extend laterally, while the Harmonic 2 Tilt provides smooth stability when reclining.
Mirra 2's two back options accommodate a variety of body types and uses. The highly adaptable "butterfly back" mechanism is the result of a new technological development that combines a fabric layer with a molded polymer with perforations that resemble the veins of a leaf, creating a dynamic hybrid structure that acts like a suspension membrane. The Triflex back is extremely easy to clean as it has no fabric layer.

Support in motion

Forward tilt adjustment
Operation location: Sitting down, front lever of two levers on the lower left of the seat
Tilt the seat forward: Lean against the backrest and put your weight on it to recline it slightly. Then, lift the lever and stop leaning against the backrest. When you stop, the seat will tilt forward.
Return the seat to its normal position : Lean back against the backrest, put your weight on it, and recline it slightly. Then lower the lever and stop leaning on the backrest. When you stop leaning on it, the forward tilt function will be released.

Adjusting the firmness of the reclining
Round dial on the bottom right of the seat
To make the backrest harder , turn the dial in the plus + direction (forward while seated) without leaning on it.
To soften the backrest, turn the dial in the minus (-) direction (backwards while sitting) without leaning against it. *The appropriate firmness is when the backrest tilts back while supporting your back when you lean lightly against it, and when you return to the upright position, the backrest naturally follows your back.

Lumbar support position and strength setting levers on both sides of the lumbar support
To make it stronger, push the tips of the left and right levers downward.
To weaken the force, raise the tips of the left and right levers.
* With the tips of the left and right levers facing up and the lumbar support loosened, hold the left and right levers in your hands and slide them up and down. Set the position by horizontally positioning the lever at the desired height. ☆The shape of the backrest itself is designed to support the pelvis and allow the spine to form a correct S-curve, but the position of the lumbar support can be adjusted to suit your body type.

Arm height adjustment
Outer lever of arm support
Raise the lever to raise the height , hold the lever and raise it up. When it reaches the desired height, push the lever down to lock it in place.
Lift the lowering lever, hold it and lower it. When it reaches the desired height, push the lever down to lock it in place.
* Place your left forearm on the arm pad and adjust the height so that your shoulder does not rise. Push the lever all the way down to lock it in place.

Arm angle adjustment
Arm Pad Grab the tip of the arm pad and move it horizontally.
*When using a computer, adjust the arm pad according to your work situation, such as moving it outward when using the mouse and inward when using the keyboard.

Supports movement A flexible chair that moves with you, supporting you and encouraging free, natural movement. Mirra 2's loop spine provides torsional flexibility and allows you to extend laterally, while the Harmonic 2 tilt provides smooth stability when reclining.

Studio 7.5
Ten years after the original Mirra chair was created and with over 1.5 million units produced, the designers at Studio 7.5 knew it was time to look back and, where necessary, revisit the original design. One reason for this is that the way people work is evolving: the more active we are, the more support we need that moves in sync with our bodies. While preserving the original design's active movement and intuitive adjustability, the designers at Studio 7.5 evolved the materials and the basic shape of the chair in almost every aspect of the Mirra 2 chair.
Continuing the tradition of the original, the first office chair designed with the environment in mind from the start, the Mirra 2 chair takes environmentally conscious design even further with improved material usage and the use of recycled materials. In redesigning the Mirra chair, the motto of the designers at Studio 7.5, as in all their work, was "make every element essential". This means thoroughly considering every material in order to reach the required high level of performance with the minimum amount of material.

Design is about solving fundamental human problems
Founded in 1923 (its predecessor, Star Furniture Company, was founded in 1905), Herman Miller bet its survival on contemporary furniture during the Great Depression of the 1930s. This gamble was a huge success, and in 1945 Herman Miller stopped producing traditional furniture and focused its business on contemporary furniture, which would later be called modern furniture. In 1960, the company began exploring the true needs of office workers and the needs of companies and organizations. They realized that office productivity was a major issue in business. The "Action Office" that was developed in this way became the standard for subsequent office systems.
Herman Miller considers innovation to be the result of research, not a goal. Innovation comes from research into customer needs, exploration of materials and processes, and design in response to social and economic innovation. Of course, designers add inspiration on top of that. Charles and Ray Eames' plywood chairs, Robert Propst's Action Office, Bill Stumpf's Ergon and Aeron chairs, and Ayse Birsel's Resolve system are all born from such interactions. What connected them to Herman Miller is the shared belief that "design exists to solve fundamental human problems." It is the passion to create new designs from research into the human body structure and the environment surrounding humans, rather than designing for the sake of design.
The quality control department repeats the industry standard 100,000 seat tests 1 million times. The unparalleled research and development department develops from the material, and the manufacturing department realizes the most advanced manufacturing process. In all of these, Herman Miller never forgets its idea of creating new designs by researching the human body and the environment. Herman Miller's products are the inevitable form that was born from researching the problems related to the act of sitting. In order to save global resources and reduce the environmental burden, Herman Miller's products strive to improve the durability and reliability of its products, and the product warranty period for work chairs is 12 years. Another aspect of innovation, "taking risks," is equally important. Herman Miller strives to always maintain a willingness to take risks. As the company expands and the responsibility for capital increases, the pressure to minimize risk has also increased. However, Herman Miller continues to take risks to bring out new products that it is confident will be successful - and sometimes products with revolutionary qualities that will change the times.
