Muller van Severen was founded by Belgian artists Feen Muller and Hannes van Severen in 2011. Always on the quest to create furniture with a sculptural appeal, the couple harness their passion for architecture and materials to create pieces that exist somewhere between design and art.
Muller van Severen's love for materials is the starting point for many of his designs. He is always looking for new ways to express the natural beauty of his materials and strives to let them speak for themselves without hiding anything.
"Our objects reflect our deep appreciation of the materials we use to create them. In terms of color, we prefer to use integrally colored materials that allow the color to penetrate to the heart of the object."

HAY is a Danish furniture company founded in Copenhagen in 2002 by Mette Hay and Rolf Hay.
Guided by the belief that "good design is a right for everyone," co-founders and creative directors Mette Heye and Rolf Heye work with talented designers from around the world to create high-quality products that can be used by a wide range of people.
